Welcome to Rakau Ora Charitable Trust  - Mental Health Services

Are you feeling alone in your struggle?   Is navigating the Mental Health System completely out of your grasp? Does no one seem to truly relate or even listen to your story?  Are you sick of repeating yourself?

Rakau Ora Ltd have not only the expertise, but lived experience, which helps us provide you with genuine and authentic support throughout your journey.

Rakau Ora Ltd  would like to show our respects and Acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of Aotearoa - Tangata Whenua,  of Elders past and present, and the whenua of which our support takes place. We embrace Tangata Whenua as kaitiaki o Aotearoa.

Kia Ora and Welcome

Rakau Ora Ltd is loosely translated from Te Reo Maori, as 'the tree of life'.  We believe that, as the tree can wither in harsh and undesirable conditions,  so can it again blossom with the right environment, the right support and the right care.   As a tree does - so can you!

We provide guidance from our Credentialled Mental Health Nurse and DAPAANZ reg Counsellor , with not only 10+ years clinical experience in Case Management of moderate to complex conditions, such as PTSD, intergeneration trauma, depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, psychosis, substance abuse, but also  personal past lived experience.  We truly understand where you are coming from because we have honestly walked a mile in those shoes!

Our Services include: Counselling (DAPAANZ reg), Mental Health Consultation for your business, Kaimahi External Supervision, Mental Health Safe space drop in, Rangatahi drop in, and PJ's Hair Studio which supports mental health.  Phone 09-4084999
